Ocean View is a busy community. People are always coming and going, talking and gossiping, cooking and cleaning, walking and running. They are always preparing for things, always working towards something. The problem is, around here the things they are working on are small dreams, only shadows of what they could truly be doing with their lives. They pray to God, but their prayers are for small things, or things that God doesn't even want for them. Actually, sounds familiar to the rest of us. Last night I shared a talk with the women about John 1 and John the Baptist who was preparing the way for Jesus Christ. John's message still speaks deeply into our lives as we often are preparing for the wrong things and possibly miss Jesus Christ all together. Check out my notes below to read my talk!
